The Merseyside Needs Report

The Community Foundation aims to understand the needs of its local communities and donors and by creating partnerships and involving donors, ensure that these needs are met. We maximise the impact of our funds and resources through our extended local and national networks, accessible grant programmes and efficient, cost-effective processes.

The Merseyside Needs Report is a compilation of numerous research sources, much of it local, to externally help communities make connections between issues and community activity and to internally help our grant-making decision-makers set local priorities for our increasingly over-subscribed grant programmes. We have aimed to present our findings in a reader friendly format to make them as accessible as possible.

The information within these summaries is broken down into six key themes; arts and culture, children, young people and families, community development and cohesion, employable communities, environment and health and well-being.
